Memorial Tributes

Thanks to all of you who attended the memorial services in San Francisco and San Luis Obispo. The McDougall family was so moved by the events and the many people we all were able to spend time with. It has really reshaped our perspectives about our father and helped us to take a look at his life in a new way. We are especially grateful for the many warm and personal stories about our father/brother/husband by the speakers at these services. We all gained new insights about my father’s life and understand the power of great, long-lasting friendships.

Per my father’s wishes, there will not be a religious funeral or services. The family is arranging cremation of Michael’s remains with the Neptune Society. The current plan is to place the ashes with Michael’s parents’ ashes in a Catholic cemetery in San Luis Obispo, CA.
